An Overview of Your New Home Experience

  • Purchasing a new home is an exciting experience. The process is also complex, with many details to be decided and arranged. While Trigon is building your new home, you participate by taking care of several important aspects of your purchase, from selecting colors for certain features to notifying your closing agent when a settlement date is set.
  • Building a new home is an investment of your money, your emotions, and your time. Many of the tasks will require your attention during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, usually between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm. The chronological list that follow outlines events that typically take place in he purchase of a new home and provides an overview of the events that will require your time and attention.

Purchasing Your Home

  • The purchase agreement and various addenda constitute the legally binding understanding regarding the purchase of your new home.

New Home Selections

  • Shortly after signing the purchase agreement, we will schedule a Preconstruction Conference to review the plans and the specifications of your home followed by a Selection Conference to begin your selection process.

Construction of Your Home

  • Several tasks need to be completed prior to the start of construction. Some of these are our jobs; some are yours. During construction, we will invite you tour your new home with us when your home reaches the close-in stage, just before insulation is installed. Although we understand your enthusiasm and desire to be involved in the building process, please understand that due to safety and insurance reasons, Trigon Homes is precluded from allowing you casual visits to the site.

Homeowner Orientation

  • The homeowner orientation has two purposes. The first is to demonstrate the features of you home and to discuss maintenance and our limited warranty program. Equally important, we want to confirm that we have delivered your new home at the quality level demonstrated in our model homes and with all your selections correctly installed.

Closing on Your Home

  • We will provide you with guidelines to assist you in preparing for closing.

Caring for Your Home

  • Many of your responsibilities as an owner and Trigon's responsibilities, under the terms of our limited warranty, are discussed in our Homeowner's Manual. You will become familiar with the home maintenance you should provide and our warranty service commitment to you. Trigon plans two standard contacts with you during the warranty period.

As time passes, if your housing needs change, we are ready at any time to build you another home. We also appreciate your referrals. Our team is always happy to provide you with information about where we are currently building and the products we offer.
